This is your life, is it everything you dreamed that it would be?
When the world was younger and you had everything to lose.
Chanced upon the diary I used to keep when I was in upper secondary. My, what an angsty kid I was then! So hassled by all the hypocrisy that I lost trust in the word ‘friendship’. I’m glad I managed to regain that trust though. Thanks to the friends I made in JC. Cuz all of them possessed such great sincerity(:
I’m glad I learnt from it anyway. Guess it kinda shaped me and changed my mindset about many things. Oh well, shall just say that I’m a different person from before.
Life's a puzzle.
Things and people constantly flit in and out of our lives. Sometimes things happen without a specific reason, yet we struggle the shit out of us trying to find an answer. Then we ask oursleves: 'Is it worth it?'
That question was always in my head as I struggled to find my place among my clique 5 years ago. When I look back now, I'll tell you.
No, it was never worth all the hurt and tears.
No, cuz it was all but superficial.
I rammed my fist against the wall.
But why the hell did I do that for? Did she even know?
So I say. It's not worth it.
I hope all out there who are depressed and lost will regain their direction soon. Simply cuz all these are part and parcel of our (somewhat shitty) lives.
As for me, I never had a direction.
